Cu Blight (Unity / C#)

Description – A Fast-Paced Action Roguelike

This is my third year game project at DigiPen made in a group of 9 students. Cu Blight is a fast-paced action roguelike. Move, shoot, and dash through randomly selected rooms to defeat every enemy and find your way to the boss of each area. Defeating enemies gives you experience; you gain new abilities and enhancements as you level up. I was the main Gameplay/Graphics Programmer on the team, working closely with the designers to implement the mechanics. My main tasks included working on the enemies and bosses and Visual Effects and creating procedurally generated maps, each with a unique color theme. and camera movement/transition. I was also the person tasked with implementing weapon systems and the mesh explosion mechanism/algorithm.
